In 1609, Galileo Galilei turned his self-made telescope to the stars, observing nature with a vision unlike anything before. This marked a turning point in human understanding of the cosmos and opened a new chapter in astronomy. For this talk, we will use the Space Museum's digital sky projection system to travel back in time and witness the fantastical night sky as seen by Galileo himself!
Speaker: Ms. Cheung Tze Shan (Assistant Curator of Hong Kong Space Museum)
Language: Cantonese
No reservation is required. Admission is free and available on a first-come, first-served basis. This talk will not be live-streamed.
